!!!!!C.O.L.D!!!!!

Just wanted to let you all know that yes, it is still bitter cold here!

Johnny and I went out on a "date" last night...actually a double date with his parents. We had a great time but who wouldn't have a great time when you are at the Rodney Carrington show! Wow he is a funny guy! And he can actually sing too!

So Thanks Mom and Dad we had a ton of fun!!!

On our way home I was watching the temperature drop and drop and drop some more!

Yes folks this is what the reader in my van said -26*F....Now that my friends is cold...bitter cold!

snow...

We are getting a lot of it! This week has been crazy with the snow and school! Yesterday Austin's bus was stuck in a ditch somewhere...Thank God he was not on it...Johnny was off to work so he took him. In the time he left I got 4 phone calls...Cheryl to tell us that school was cancelled...Mom to tell us that elementary ONLY was on a 2 hr delay...Angel to say that the roads were too bad she was keeping her kids home and the school...CONFUSION!!! I call J tell him to come back home and with in mins I call him back to say that is wrong go back....I think he was getting kinda mad. Anyways he took Austin off to school and we had decided to leave Allie home so I did not have to go out in the mess! Ends up ok because they cancel her school anyways...are you following me? Me neither!! Crazy I tell ya!! But that is not all no not all!!! Today, kids are off to school...yup every weather station in central Oh and surrounding areas are covering the snow storm we are going to get...BUT our little people are off. to. school!!! So at 1:00 I get a call to tell me they are sending the kids home early...ONLY middle and high school! At 1:02 I get a call to say not that early instead of 1 it will be 2:00...and @1:05 the call to say that elementary will stay in school until 3:30...are you with me...it's ok I am lost too!!! I am thinking the superintendent may want to take a break to gather his thoughts...I think his phone will blowing up and his inbox will be full!!!

Well all that aside.....

the kids are having a great time with all the snow we are getting!! Austin wanted to shovel the driveway...WANTED!!!! That is HUGE people my pre-teen wanted to do some work. Okay so it was just to build a bigger pile of snow to play in...hey we will take what we can get!!! Pooh Bear...lovin every bit of it!!!

and Cash was ever so happy to be out in this...and ever so ticked off when we made him come in!!!

I took this from my phone so it is not the best but this is St Rt 314 on my way to get the kiddos today...Seriously...could we get a snow plow out here?! And if not lets go ahead and keep these little people home...even if we do have to make up a day at the end of the year!!!

Cole's Bday Party...

Hello from the Comfort Inn....This past weekend we went to the hotel that we do visit often (our get-a-way) This time we went for Cole's 9th Birthday! It is hard to believe that he is 9...that means my little Pooh Bear will be 9 before I know it!! Anyways, the kids had a great time playing in the pool, hanging out in the arcade (as you can see I had fun in the arcade too) and yes we jumped on the beds!! Doesn't everyone?! HA!! Austin is such a great big brother! I love that with all there was to do he still took some time to splash around with Cash!!

Allie was thrilled to be going and even better when we got there it just so happened that some of the girls from her school were there for a get-a-way too!

I could not think of a better way to spend a COLD SNOWY weekend!!!

Updates....

I should first let you all know that Bible Man has been recovered! Thanks to Johnny! However I am sad to report that we have buried him! He will now RIP with Allied Waste.

Cash is still doing much better. He now just has an awful cold. But as you all know from the last post HE IS BACK!!

The kids had to go back to school today! Getting up was not as bad as I thought but as you can see from the pictures they were very tired!

Doing homework tonight was...not good to say the least! I think they will miss the OSU game tonight due to the fact that they will be in bed!

Today I officially started my diet...UGG! The food is not great but it makes me full, exercising is not a problem, BUT the fact that I have not had ANY pop is killing me! I am sure I will get used to it?! And on occasion I will have 1...but I think it is pointless to do all this work with the food and exercise if I am going to continue to drink 8...a day! We will see how long this lasts! It is helping that Johnny has been working out with me! Wish us luck!!! His goal is to lose 20 lbs mine is to lose 10-15 but if nothing else just to be more healthy!

Tonight as I said is the OSU game...I wish it was not on a Monday night! We have a place to have a party and everyone has to work...that stinks! Oh well....

Prince Charming...

has been sick for almost a week!

I must admit it has been nice not having to pick up after him and "no, no, no" him all the time BUT...this afternoon I sat down to pray that God would make my prince charming feel better. That he would take away all of his little aches and fever and snotty nose and cough even if he gave it to me. Just make my ornery rotten little man better...and guess what...ok your too smart. He is better! Not 100% better but better enough to do this...are you ready?? I decide that A and A need to be in bed by 8:30 tonight, they have been night owls for 2 wks and sleeping the day away so tonight I am getting them in bed and I walk down the hall "Cash Wilson where are you?" He comes bolting out of my room...

• me~ Cash, what were you doing in mommy's room?
• Cash~ my guy is swimming!!!
• me~ where is your guy swimming?
• Cash~ I flushed it!!!
• me~ you flushed your guy!!??
• Cash~ i say guy git back heere!!!
• me~ Cash, did your guy come back?! (praying that the little figure is just floating at the top of the toilet)
• Cash~ NOPE, him go bye bye mommy!!!

HE'S BACK!!!!!!!

And now Austin and Allie are peacefully sleeping while I blog, backyardigians are playing on the DVD and Johnny gets the dirty job of saving Bible Man from the septic tank!! Hang tough little Bible Man!!

Thank You God for making my Prince Charming the ornery rotten little boy he is....I swear I would not have it any other way!!!

Christmas 2008

We have been busy!

We spent Christmas Eve night at Johnny's Uncle Jeff's for LaFever Family Christmas! We had a really good time and lots of good food! Austin and I went to Christmas Eve services at Church. I have never been before, I really enjoyed it! There were just a few of us there but it was very nice!

We were very tired when we got back home and we had very excited kids! A and A went straight back to bed and our little Prince Charming was bouncing off the couch at 1am! "Look at me" "Look at me" Finally at 1:30am he gave up! And when we woke up at 8:00am we found that...

Santa came! And I think he received the request from the kids! They were very pleased with their gifts! I had so many pictures and obviously I can not post them all so... "YEE HAW" Yup Santa brought Cash his very own horse! Austin got the Ipod touch and Allie is happy to report that she got REAL diamond earrings! After many conversations with lovie that we were NOT exchanging gifts! NOT! EXCHANGING! GIFTS! Some how the ipod nano found it's way into my stocking...Hmmm!! I would be lying if I said I did not LOVE IT!! After our Christmas here we got ready and went over to my Mom and Dad's....

We opened gifts and had a wonderful dinner! Dad made an anti pasta plate, lasagna, bread, salad and...for dessert...

bananas foster! It was all wonderful! We were completely stuffed!! And the time spent with family...priceless! After Christmas with my fam it was off to unload and re load to Johnny's parents! Kim and Ron and the boys were home this year! We opened gifts there and snacked on what snacks our full belly's could handle! Again time spent with family~Priceless!

Friday we had family pictures with Johnny's family. It went really well for having 12 of us to photograph. The kids spent the evening with the boys at Johnny's parents, while Johnny and I ran over to Jeff and Em's for cards. We had a good time. Saturday Ma and I ran into do a little shopping and then back home for Kim and Ron and the boys and John and Linda to come over to see the basement and visit! Sunday....we were totally lazy and watched movies on the couch all day and did some much needed resting!!

Things here are now calm...well for the most part! And I will be enjoying the next few days chillin with J and the kids!

Merry Christmas Eve!!!!

I am stealing this idea from a dear friend... 1. Do you remember the year that Santa left Cabbage Patch kids by the back door? Oh how excited I was to meet Fredrika, she had red hair and piggy tails! I think I still have her? 2. How about the year we went to Texas in an escort? That was the last year I spent Christmas with my Uncle Terry. I miss him!! Also the same year Santa left a letter for me to tell me that he WAS infact a real person! Thank you Uncle Chris! 3. Sitting at the top of the stairs or in our rooms yelling to Mom and Dad..."Can we get out of bed yet?" EXCITEMENT!! 4. How bout...CHA CHA CHA CHIA...and that hat I wore to Aunt Brenda's with that awful jacket, or was it a shirt or a sweater...whatever it was I wanted it soooo bad, it smelled like the potato sacks that you go down the slide in at the fair! 5. I remember wanting to open a gift sooo bad on Christmas Eve...that was just un-heard of...still is huh Dad?! 6. The camera that Grandpa Murray got...it was in a huge box...and many boxes inside that...I miss him too! 7. The smell of sausage balls in the morning... 8. Actually hearing the reindeer on the roof...and the bells that followed 9. The smell of Christmas...now really sit back and think...go ahead it won't hurt anything...You smell it don't you?! 10. We always had a real tree...artificial trees were just not the same! Except for the year it went in the front door and out the back...that year artificial trees were going to be just fine, right Ma?! The older I get the more I appreciate the fact that Christmastime at our house was special, always spent with family even if it was just the 4 of us...so if you ask yourself why I am such a freak about Christmas...Thank my parents! And I will take the time to Thank them too! Dear Mom & Dad, Thank You both deeply from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for me! Oh and will do for me...lol! Thank You for all the Christmas' that you made special to me, each and every one! I love you both more than words could ever say! Merry Christmas!! Love, Kate
