I literally ran threw the house tonight, after picking up Allie and Cash and taking AJ to baseball practice, cleaning the garage, and eating dinner...and snapped a few pictures! Not great ones! But those will come!!!

Kolbi is Johnny's puppy!! He is so very proud of her! She is part lab, part collie! She is really cute and minds very well!! She poops A LOT and she lives in the garage!! This picture is deciving, because I let her in the house to get the picture! No kidding, 3 shots into the "photo shoot" she pooped on the floor!! Bad puppy!!! Back outside she went :)

Are you shocked? I am!! Shocked that I have let so much time go by!!! I do apologize!! You see being a Momma of 3 VERY busy children, plus having a full time job, leaves little to no time for blogging!! I am learning a new life style now! Juggling kids, all of their activities, a house, dinner, a job, a husband and all the un-expected...whew!! It sure has been...well still is a learning experience! I am loving every second of it!! My job is so rewarding!! In so many ways! The fact that I am able to help, care for, love my residents is a reward in itself! Meeting new friends has been great! Not that I don't love my "circle" but coming out of my "circle" has led me to some AMAZING, truly wonderful friends!! I worked so hard through October-December and it paid of! I am now a full time employee, with benifits! I didn't need them, because Johnny has great benifits! Although we have never had dental or life insurance and now we do!! I am so proud of myself for finding something that I love! Now enough about me.... Austin: he is turning into quite the young man! He wears more cologne in a week than most men wear in a year :) Johnny is trying to tell him that less is more...yet every morning I feel like my house is the Hollister store!! He still continues to do very well in school! He had a great fall baseball season. We watched him actually come out of his shell in wrestling! And is now starting Club baseball for the school. Still an incredible big brother, and almost as tall as me! Allie: she is still the little princess!! Probably always will be! She also continues to do very well in school! She is not quite as active in sports as AJ. But loves her softball, and reading books! She is playing the trumpet for the 5th grade band! We are very lucky that she likes to practice with her door...closed :) No really at her winter concert, she did very well! She enjoys it, and that is what matters! This past weekend she and I went shopping! I have to tell you...she is quite the shopper!!! Like mother, like daughter! Cash: I know you have all been missing his little quotes!! I can't wait to post some!! Cash is full of life! The most energetic 4 year old I know! He loves his brother and sister...when they give him what he wants and play what he wants, when he wants, by his rules...period! Sad, although peaceful thing is...they do what he says! Ah who am I kidding! This is my blog why should I lie...WE ALL DO WHAT CASH SAYS!!! Cash spends his time with Papaw LaFever while I work!! They are great buddies!! And when Papaw LaFever can't keep him, he goes to Papaw Berkeley's and gives him a laugh or two!!! Cash keeps me on my toes and makes me tired :) Johnny: Still working! Thank God! Spends every other weekend playing Mr. Mom while I work. He does a GREAT job at this!! He has done more laundry since September than he has done our entire marriage!! Not to leave out that he cleans the house, cooks dinner, and is one heck of a grocery shopper!!! Okay, next blog I will post some new pictures!! We have 2 new additions to our family since I last blogged! And for sure some cute Cash quotes!!!

Has it really been 2+ months since I last posted?!

Sorry to all who have been checking in! We have been some busy people!

If I thought you all had daaaaaays to hear about our last 2+ months I would give you the long version...I know you don't! So, here it is....

Our family has a TEENAGER!!!! Austin turned 13 in April! He is still the same Austin, with a little bit of teenage attitude!!!

Our family also has a 10 year old!!!! Allie turned 10 last week! She is still the same Allie, with a little bit more sass!!!

Happy Be-lated Mother's Day to all of the Mom's out there! I know I am blessed to have a Wonderful Mom!! And a Wonderful Mother -n- Law!!! In May I celebrated the BIG 33!!! I am still the same Kate, trying to be young at heart!!!

Also in May, I am very proud to tell you that I passed my state test and now I am officially an STNA, or a Nurse's go-getter!!! I am looking forward to continuing school, maybe in the fall, to reach an RN within the next couple years!!!

I have been working at the nursing home since April! I love it! I love the people I work with and I love my residents and I LOVE MY JOB!!!

I am in love!!! I told Johnny that when you have your own children you instantly fall in love! If your a Mom or Dad you know what I am talking about! If your an Auntie...You instantly fall in love in a whole new way!!!

My sister is AWESOME!!! She had a fairly easy labor...UNTIL this adorable little boy did not want to come out!!! 4+ hours of pushing!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! And FINALLY..... Layne is a BIG brother!!!!

Jess, my little sister is a MOMMY

and Kelly became a Daddy, again!!!

We are all very excited and very blessed to have this sweet boy in our family!!!!

And last but not least...

Happy Be-lated Fathers Day, to all the Dad's!!!

I again am very blessed to have an Awesome Dad!!! And an Awesome Father -n- Law!!!

I am also very blessed to have this Wonderful Man as my husband and the father of our 3 adorable children!!!

WHEW!!!! This past week....O my goodness!!!

Short version of our week goes like this...

Sunday I am in ball meetings ALL day and from what I hear so was half of Morrow County...please please please DO NOT fault ME for that one...get home from the ball meetings, spend an hour crying "Lord am I doing the right thing?"

Get up Monday morning, pack several lunches, get 3 kids ready to head out the door, take them to Grandma and Grandpa LaFever's, off to school for me...7am to 3:15pm...stop to pick up Allie and Cash go wait at the school for Austin and his crew, stop at subway grab some dinner, do 3 1/2 hours of homework...just ME!!! Yup that is pretty much how Tuesday went, except throw a Spring Concert in the mix...gotta say, BEST by far Spring Concert I have attended EVER!!!!!

Beatles Theme!!!!

Allie and her BFF Carlie She looked so darn cute!!! Wednesday same routine as prior days...-Spring Concert + first track meet and first softball practice!!! Both went really well!!! Austin did very good at the meet. He did not place in hurdles BUT he did not knock any over either!!! Allie loves her team and showed her talent!!! Thursday same routine - homework and meets and practices + the Easter Bunny needed to do some shopping!!! Friday....okay your getting it...and when we got home CHILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This morning, Allie had practice, Austin went to the track meet! We colored Easter Eggs...well Allie, Cash and I...did not know there was an age limit on when to stop coloring eggs for Easter?? Apparently I was wrong!!! Tonight we are going to hang out with some friends, and tomorrow Easter at our house with Mom, Jess, Kelly, John and Linda!! Then for me, Homework and back at it again on Monday!!! This is crazy people...good thing this class is only 2 weeks!! I gotta tell ya...LOVIN IT!!!! Can not wait to keep on going!!!! It is that time of year!

!!!Spring!!!

My Ma always calls it "bitter/sweet"

Time for sunshine and warm weather, baseball/softball, birds chirping, fresh air, new flowers....

and for some, it's back to work!! For this someone back to work is not close to home!

Back to work for my Dad is 2.5 hours away!! And to some that is nothing!

To US....it is 2.5 hours away!!

While I'm glad it is not any further, it still makes me sad that it's not around the corner!! So, last night I made dinner and we hung out before Dad headed out to work (for the summer/fall)

Last week we did not sit outside until dark in jackets or just our shirts!

We live in Ohio...

and there WAS still snow on the ground last week!!!

BUT IF we did go outside and sit until dark in just our shirts or light jacket, I'm sure my oldest children would have HUGE smiles on their faces!!!!

I have been getting together all of the baseball/softball things and that includes our old cleats...

NO WAY would one family have this many cleats....NOT US!!!!

This VERRRRRY looooonnnng winter we had to be plowed out many times. We are VERY thankful for those that came to the rescue!!! Now that spring is right around the corner, the snow is melting and we can see.....gravel....yes...on our side yard it looks as though we are creating another driveway!!!

Now what is a guy to do when there is so much gravel in your grass?

Certainly NOT!!!!

Ummmm yes!!! YES he did!!!

It worked!!! And I am sure I have given you and our neighbors something to laugh about for awhile!!!

I first want to Thank you for praying for my Nanny! I know that when I talked with my Papaw he said she was feeling all of your prayers! I will keep you updated! It means so much to me that you were able to say that prayer for her!!!

How's the weather? Glad you asked!!

The sun has been out for 4 days straight!!! 4 days!!!! It has been wonderful!!! Peeking through my curtains! Shinning ever so nicely on my bedroom floor!!! The snow is still here, and my guess is that it will be here for awhile!! After all we did have 30+ inches just in the month of February!! And although I am not thrilled that it will not be going away...NOW...I have been so grateful to see the sun!! I am also grateful that as of yesterday ALL of our baseball/softball sign ups are OVER!!! Teams are picked, Coaches have been chosen, and paperwork (for now) is complete!! I tell ya if you have never been on a ball board....keep it that way!!! No really the end result is good. I am happy that I can give SOME of my time to help out with the kids in our community. But ALL of my time, NO!! It is a thankless job! Well with the exception of a few and I do mean few grateful people!!

What else have we been doing?

I will share that with you in a later post, for now....

I am using my blog today to ask that if you read about our family that you take today, tonight, tomorrow or whenever you choose to pray to please say a prayer for my Nanny!

She has been having some health problems for awhile and in the past couple months they seem to have worsened.

Her name is Jan and she is an amazing woman! She is very active in her Church and being sick has enabled her to teach the woman in her bible study class. As I talked with her today I could hear the weakness in her voice. I told her I would be asking all of my friends to Please Pray for her! So here I am asking all of you to add her to your prayers! I Thank You all from the bottom of my heart and I know she appreciates your prayers too!!

I was thinking last night about how truly blessed I am! With all this weather drama...yes it is still yucky here...I look around my house and I am blessed! I mean I am really blessed!!

Even when my dining room has been turned into little tykes play land...

I am blessed!!

Some people don't have food to eat, let alone a dining room!! Some kids don't have toys to play with, let alone enough little tykes toys to make a play land!! I am blessed!!

Even when my 3 year old is STILL using marker to color my walls...ahem

before we know it, she will have a little tykes play land in her home, and marker on her babe, and staring her blessing in the eyes only to wonder...how did this time go by so fast!!

Johnny and the boys made a snow fort!!

The fort was BIG enough that they all 3 were able to fit inside and sit up!!

It is still snowing here!!

In our house a total of 3 humans and 1 dog like this fact!!

Those 3 humans are ALL kids!! And that dog does not even live here!!

They shut down I 71 this afternoon!!

We are in a level 2....AGAIN!!

We are surviving the snow storm!! We are still in a level 2!! I think the snow has stopped?! The winds did not get as high as they said!! However the snow is still drifting on the roads!! And I just got a call from the school that we are on a 2 hour delay, with possible change if the roads worsen!!

We are keeping busy!! Lovie is probably wishing he was working!! But I am grateful that he is home....my kitchen and living room are sparkling clean!!! TOP TO BOTTOM!!! Speaking of top to bottom.....

It is COLD here!!! I mean COLD...like nose hairs freeze when you walk outside, COLD!!

Friday the kids got out of school early due to the storm. We spent the evening in. It was nice. I was starting to think that there was no storm coming...BOOM!! It hit! High winds and LOTS of snow! By 9pm we were in a level 2. By Saturday morning the storm had came and went. Today it is still COLD!! It looks really pretty around here....

I ask myself often....why do we live in this state? I do like season changes. Maybe that is why? Maybe it is that our families are here? Maybe it is that my loving husband has a good job here? Could be many reasons?! Still I like season changes! I guess maybe I just like some to stay longer than others....and winter....it can GO anytime now!!!

Did you hear my bedroom screaming this morning? If not I am shocked!!! It was having a really hard time breathing...due to the.....

dust!!!!! Wow!!!

Okay...better.....still having trouble breathing due to the fact that I really needed to put these clothes away....

how sad is that?! They are clean clothes!! I just needed to hang them up!!! Easy enough!!!

DONE!!! Much better!!!

Now I can get back to putting all of my pictures on discs!!!

Oh and waiting on the next storm...UGH!!!!

Please keep praying for a healthy baby!!! I will try to snap a picture of her belly so that I can share with you how adorable she looks!!

Has it really been a week since I last posted a blog?!

I have been a busy girl!!

Let me start with Austin...he has been complaining of a sore knee for about 2 weeks. Now before you go thinking, "Why have you let this go for 2 weeks?" You must know my son...However after talking with his wrestling coach and having to sit out of the tournament this past weekend I decided if I was EVER going to get that "MOTHER OF THE YEAR!!!" award....I had better take him to have it looked at. So I did. After seeing the Dr and going to Childrens to have some xrays they have came up with....nothing!! He is fine!! Osgood slaughters maybe. So he will be wrestling this weekend!! And speaking of wrestling it is almost over. Next weekend will be it! And I am sure we will be on to something else!! No rest I tell ya!!

Allie....oh Allie!!! I had been telling her all weekend that I would take her and her brothers to do something. Before I knew it Monday was here and she was moping around giving me the sad eyes. So even after the previous nights we had....I will get to that in a minute...we got dressed and went to see The Chipmunks. What a cute movie....and then it was over...and as we are walking out of the theater.....I look over to get my eyes back on Cash and standing over the trash can is my daughter, throwing up!!! She did hit the trash can....right as Austin was throwing our trash away...yes you guessed it, she threw up all over Austin's arm!! Oh it was a long ride home!! She spent all day Tuesday in bed, she did not really run a temp. I am guessing that it was a little 24hr bug?! I am guessing this because..........

Saturday night, or maybe I should say Sunday early morning...Cash was in my room throwing up, he did not make it to a trash can...my poor carpet!!! His bug lasted about 24hrs too! And then he was back to his normal self!! His normal, loud, needy, cute as ever, non-sleeping self!!!

Did I mention non-sleeping?????????

Ah. Who needs sleep?

I DO...I DO...I DO!!!!!!

Okay at 3 we should really be sleeping ALL night?! ummm ya....we are not!! Here lately if he gets 3-4 hours, he is golden!!! And I am including a nap in this 3-4 hour estimate!!! I am taking ANY and ALL suggestions on HOW TO GET YOUR CHILD TO SLEEP!!!!

Johnny is still working!!! I am prayerful that this will continue all winter. He is also getting ready to do some side jobs...gotta keep his non-working wife...AHEM...non-working!!! I love this man!!!!

And me....the non-working wife....I am busy being a wife, a mom, chef, maid, taxi, pirate, dishwasher, laundry do-er, dinosaur, bill payer, boo boo fixer, puke cleaner-uper, bed maker....okay you get it....I am busy doing.....

Just a quick update to let you know that Johnny's test results from his latest biopsy came back A typical!!! Which means that the mole he had removed 2 weeks ago was just that...a mole! Thank You to all of you who were shooting up prayers for him!!

Our first year wrestler!!!

Austin is doing a really good job. He seems to really enjoy this sport. This sport that I never would have thought I could "get into"....boy 2010 is proving to be a year that I should never say never!!! Anyways, I do "get into" his matches. For that matter if I know you or your parents...I "get into" your matches too!!! This is NOT a surprise to those of you that HAVE to or CHOOSE to sit by me during something my kids are involved in!!! So, to say the least we are all having tons of fun this wrestling season! And beaming with pride yet again over our oldest son who gives his all to everything!!

Speaking of beaming with pride...

these two are like peas in a pod!! Ornery as they can get, have tons of fun together and waiting as patiently as they can for...

This year we did Christmas with J's family the day after! We were up early and at John and Linda's to open gifts by 9:30!

Cash was still on a Christmas high...and it got even higher when he opened....

Apparently if you don't buy your child underwear when they need them...they still grow!!! And then you feel like a total a** when they make their list and the #3 thing is underwear.

After Christmas at John and Linda's we got loaded up and went over to Grandma Brown's. I must have left my camera in the car because I have NO pictures of this!!! I must have been so excited to get inside and eat that I forgot to grab the camera?!

We feasted and I do mean that honestly on some very good Grandma Brown cookin'!!!! This time I ate rolls first!! I always wait until last to eat my roll then I am so full that I either can't eat all of it or only eat 1. And let me tell ya, you don't want to eat just 1 of Grandma Brown's rolls!!!!! So this time I ate 2 before my meal and took what was left of Cash's for after my meal.

It was a full house and the kids played with each other pretty well....until it was time to go and we said the worst 4 words....CLEAN UP YOUR MESSES!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!!

After we (adults) cleaned up we were so tired we went straight home, grabbed a blanket and curled up for a nice nights sleep!!!

Until 10:30pm and I woke up Johnny to tell him.....

I am quitting my job!!!

*note to self in 2010....DON'T wake husband in the middle of a nice nights sleep to tell him something so important*

It all worked out!!! I did quit my job!!! I did like that job VERY much!!! But it was really not a "Mommy job" and I did NOT like that AT ALL!!!

I am very blessed to have a husband who supports me in the crazy decisions I make!!! I look at this like, the job got us through Christmas and all the extra spending this time of year. It got me out of the house and let me see what the world is like........CrAzY!!! I met a few really great people who I will stay in contact with!!! I met some that I don't ever care to see again!!! And it helped me to see that when I thought I wanted out of the house to be "Miss I can do it all and be a Mommy too" + "a great wife, and still be able to volunteer when ever needed" I was dead WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't do all that!!! And # 1 most important to me....being a wife/mom!!!

So people....that is what I am going to do!!! And it is making me smile non-stop!!!!!

Guess who was able to make it over to the "good list".....

Yup none other than our nose picking 3 year old!!!

Actually everyone made it on the "good list" this year!! Santa sure was good to the LaFever kids!!

Austin's gifts included....Mom finding his ipod 1 week before Santa arrived!!! GO ME!!!

Band Hero, video games, clothes and much more!!

Allie's gifts, ipod, clothes, shoes, and roller skates plus much more!!

Cash's gifts, DS...(which actually is a handheld Vtech game) but who are we to tell him any different....he wanted a DS), games, nerf guns, clothes and more!! I told you Santa was GOOD to these kids!!!!

Johnny and I were up at 7:30 to make coffee, sausage balls and cinnamon rolls!!! By 8am we had a house full!!!

...plus Auntie!!! It was so nice to have my everyone here with us Christmas morning!!

Thursday...December 24, 2009! Christmas Eve!

Johnny had to work half a day. The kids and I invited Kim, Ron, the boys and John and Linda over during the day to help make some cOOkies!!! And to get ready for "LaFever Family Christmas"

The kids made their way outside....

You really can not see just how BiG this snowball is. HuGe!!! All 6 of the kids played outside for sometime.

When I invited the family to come out and help me with cOOkies, I was excited, Kim is a baker!! She always is making some cute little something!! Well to my surprise she did not come with the boys....So that left me and Allie and 7 yup 7 boys in the kitchen to make these cOOkies!! And you know what? They did GrEaT!!! Ian who is now 14, was my main helper!!! I would not have guessed that he would know the do's and don'ts when it came to baking cOOkies....I guess I was wrong!! Kim if your reading this....see they do listen!! Even when we think they are not!!!

I should not lead you to believe that this lasted all day...it did not!! It was short lived, and Kim did make it to the rescue!!! Not before we had finished our cut out cookies that were.....lets just say, not easy to identify!!!

So 6:30 was here before we knew it and time for

"LaFever Family Christmas"

Maybe another girl?????

We played the dice game, had some very YUMMY food and spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing!!!

9 more days until Christmas!!! Are you ready???

I am NOT!!! I still have shopping to do, wrapping to do, cookies to bake....and I am running out of time!!! I am trying really hard NOT to stress over it...after all, this time of year is a time to be HAPPY and celebrate JESUS!!!! NOT stressed and frazzled!!! Okay, so I said I am trying!!! Everything WILL get done!!

Yesterday we had Christmas with my Mom's family!!

I do believe a good time was had by all!!! Allie was in charge of taking pictures for me.....ahem...so we have LOTS of pictures of our cat and dog and pictures of pictures on the wall!!!

Tonight after I slaved over a wonderful meal of.....ahem....subway...Thanks Michelle for getting that gift card yesterday and reminding me how much I LOVE....making such a wonderful meal for my family!!! I have not stopped thinking about it since!!! Well now I have because my belly is full :) Oh anyways after our dinner Austin was sitting at the counter doing some homework when I say to him...don't eat my gift from yesterday!! To which he says, WHY? I was looking at it this morning and it looks SOOOOO yummy!!! WHY can I not have any of them?

Well son it sure does look Yummy....to my skin!!! It is body scrub!!! OH GEEEEEZ....he says, I saw that this morning and was thinking, I wonder if Mommy will notice if I take just one of these yummy looking candies and a little...just a little of this pudding!!!! HA!!! Good thing I said something!!! I would have been really upset if he had eaten this....I can not wait to use it!!! What a GREAT idea!!! Thanks, Julie and Kate!!!! You all are sooooo crafty!!!!

...I don't want any of you to worry!! He did leave here with both of his very chubby cheeks un-harmed....I wanted so badly to kiss them right off!!! But I was able to control myself... I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

We sure did!! Well aside from the fact that I had to work...yes I did!! And I know I said I would absolutely not do it....NOT ME....it was certainly NOT worth missing out on my family~but I have a wonderful family who came to eat dinner at 11:00am so that I could eat with them!! And by the end of my 9 hour shift I was giving Thanks that I have such a wonderful family!! I really do think that having this job is making me appreciate them more and more!!!

On Friday I did my annual black Friday shopping with Ang and Brandy! We had a GREAT time!! As always!!

She is beautiful!!! JUST BEAUTIFUL!!

Friday night we put up our Christmas tree!! And all of our decorations!!! After we did that, Allie ran back to her room to put on her Christmas pj's from 2 years ago (must have been too big on her then) AND she even talked Austin into putting his on!! She came out of our room with mine and Johnny's too!! Cash was sooooo sad....

Wow!! I have been gone for sometime, huh?! For good reasons, I suppose?! Last week I started my new job. Sunday night was really hard. Thinking about leaving the kids, asking God again and again "really is this what I should be doing" Getting out of the house with complete strangers. And when Monday morning came...I felt GREAT! Training for 3 days. And 2 nights of working on the floor with a trainer. That is 5 days! WOW!! And I live to tell about it! I like the job very well. It has given me an out! I feel wonderful. My kids were totally fine...(thanks to good friends and a loving family) And I will be adding a small but needed income to our family. This coming week I work 3 days. One with a trainer, and the other two by myself!! Cha-Ching!!! Pray with me that this week will go as smoothly as last!! In addition to starting this new job, I have been keeping up with the housework. With Johnny and the kids' help. And most importantly spending time with J, A, A, and C! So, not much time for blogging! I always thought if I had a job (outside of our home) I would use my "free" time more wisely. And I was right. While the big kids were at school, Cash and I have played more together, read more and really enjoyed our time together! Knowing that in a few hours Mommy would be leaving! As far as the big kids, I have definitely enjoyed my time with them too! Although Thursday I only saw Austin for a total of 1 hour....ALL DAY!! I am afraid that my days with spending "Mommy and me" time with him are few and far between. He is getting older and would much rather go to a ball game or hang out with his friends than chill with his Momma....he does though and I cherish EVERY minute of it!!! Even if it is only for an hour!!! Allie has been a real trooper this past week. She has helped me out a ton. And I am afraid that all this rush rush may have her a little down. Last night she had a temp. And these days with all the flu's going around a temperature is just nothing to mess with. So, Motrin and rest for my Princess. And for her Momma....a very restless night sleep with a sick girl!! Today she has no fever...(weird) but I am grateful for this. And I have spent the entire morning washing bed sheets, curtains, and Lysol on everything that can handle it!! Church clothes back in the closet for next week.....I promise!!! Last Monday, Austin's fall baseball team came in second place in the tournament!! WOO HOO!!! He had a blast with his team and coaches!! We will be going back next fall...but for now the glove is up for the winter!! Speaking of winter...yes it is almost here!! BOO!! And speaking of BOO....the kids have their Halloween costumes ready. I will post some pictures soon!!! But for now the washer is singing to me and my little blessings are calling!!!

OH MY WORD.....WHERE TO START!!!!

What a weekend! Here it goes....

Friday I had my second interview at Cracker Barrel. It went really well AND...

I got the job!!

I am looking very forward to having this job for many reasons! And I have prayed along with many of my dear family and friends that God would show me when and where and He did!! So Thanks to ALL of you who have prayed for me about this! I can't wait to start! I have orientation on the 7Th so this will give me some time to do a few things I need to do before becoming an "outside of the home working Mommy"

To celebrate this new job, Johnny and I had decided that we would take the two little ones and go to dinner with Mom and Dad L. Austin was going to the football game with a friend. Dinner was nice, then off to Wally World for a few things and just as we were loading up the van....

we get a call from the family that AJ is with saying that some of the kids thought it was funny to "table top" each other.....funny that is until one kid gets knocked out.......

YUP...our kid!!!!

So we load up the little two with Mom and Dad L. and rush off to meet our kid at the hospital!!

After many cat scans, questions and sitting in a very smelly waiting room, germs everywhere....probably the darn swine flu.... we find that our man is good to go! I sure hope these boys learned a lesson....

*FOOTBALL GAMES~ a place to go and WATCH, maybe have a snack and a drink and right back to your seat!!

OH WHAT A NIGHT!!!

Saturday I spent cleaning up the house, chillin' with Allie and Cash, while Johnny and Austin went to a "shoot" I know I know I sent my son who had just been in the ER the night before to a place where adults think it is fun to shoot clay pigeons. Well for the record it was probably the safest place to be!!!!

Saturday night we went over to some friends of ours, they were having a going away party for their daughter who is moving to California! We were able to catch up with lots of our friends and see every ones new babies!!

We also got to visit with Aunt Brenda!!!

How lucky for them (Ma and her little sis) that they spent the entire weekend together!!! I think they had lots of fun!!

So Sunday starts out GrEaT!! Beautiful day, we are spending some family time together....and guess what happens.....NEVER mind, you will NEVER guess....

Back to the ER we go!!!!!!

Well, I have no good reason why I have been gone for so long. I guess other things have just been higher on the list of things to do.

However I do want to catch you up!!

I am still job hunting. I have my application in at 4 different places now. And I did get an interview for Friday afternoon! I have spent a lot of time praying that if I am supposed to be working outside our home that God will show me. You know...come on, you all know, with that BIG HUGE SMACK in the face. I know that you know. I am sure you have all been there. Asked for that sign and it was right in front of your face all the time. Well this time I asked for a BIG HUGE SMACK....right in the face!! So we will see! However if you get a chance and praying is your thing, do me a favor and shoot one up for me!! Thanks, in advance!!

So, while I am sitting around here waitin' on that sign, I decided to hang a few of my own...

I love this! I got it years ago, may have even been right after Johnny and I got married. It is simple but when I put it out, I know fall is here!! And I do love fall!!! Now my house is all decorated with all of my fall things and smells all like pumpkins and spice and you know all those yummy fall candle smells!!! MMmmm MMmmm GooD!!

The kids sure know fall is here too!! Homework, homework, and more homework!! School is going well for them!! And I am sure grateful for that!! And Chuggie, well he met a new friend today..... I could not believe this!!! But it happened!! And poor Austin feels soooo bad!! He even offered to pay to have it fixed!!! What a sweet kid!!!

Allie, says she does not even care about the missing part of her very permanent tooth!!! As long as it does not hurt to have it fixed!!! I say....baby girl, you WILL care someday!!! Trust me!!!

So for now the broken parts...yes I said parts....of her tooth will remain here.....

in milk in the refrigerator, until we get to the dentist tomorrow!!!!

I did it!!!!

I know I told you I did the pickles a few posts back...ummm okay so....they were B.A.D!!! And not the good B.A.D....but the gag the minute you tasted them B.A.D!!!!! WAY to salty....we did deep fry them....then they were the good B.A.D...but not healthy!!! So, I tried!!! And after going to visit my sister who has turned into quite the little homemaker....I knew I HAD to try again...ummm okay with her help!!!! I also had to do something with ALL of these peppers...and per Johnny request, my Dad makes the B.E.S.T Pepper butter, I had to try it too!!! Okay I confess Jess already had done hers and so she helped me with that too!!!

So, all afternoon and evening I, with the help of "Becky Home~ecky" (I love you, Jess!!! and you know I am just jealous!!!) made some, now edible dill pickles and "Dad's famous mustard" As far as what else I have been up to?! Cleaning out the basement....eeeewwww!!! Not fun!!! Getting somethings ready for a future garage sale, tossing out things we DO NOT need!!! And re-organizing!!! I know now you are jealous of me....hahahahaha!!!! I have made a small dent in the work that needs done, however a "to do" list is n.e.v.e.r e.n.d.i.n.g!!!!! Tomorrow the kids have school and then they will be off for 10 days!!!! I am looking forward to that!!! I still have not heard back on a job?! Please pray for me that if it is meant to be I will get something!!! For now I will enjoy my little people and try to come up with something to do with ALL of these tomatoes!!!!

So last Monday I sent my 12 year old to school...7th grade!!! Since the kids start Middle school in the 6th grade now, it was not too bad. However, I can remember 7th grade...like it was yesterday!! That part makes me sad. My little "Tin~Man" is growing up!!!

A friend of ours is taking him to school this year, along with her son. So he does get to sleep in a little more than he did last year. And between Mimi and Mommy he gets a ride home in the afternoon!! He said after the first week, he likes all his teachers and is happy to have a bigger locker!! His classes are not all the same kids, so he likes that he gets to see many of his friends durring the day. Let's just pray that he is not being too much of a social bug...and spending his time learning!

After Austin left it was time to get my big fourth grader ready!! The first day was not too bad. She had her outfit picked out the day she bought it!!! And we cut her hair so that was fairly simple too!! She eats the same thing for breakfast EVERYDAY...Fro.sted Fl.akes, so again simple! As the week went on, it did get a bit more complicated!! She is VERY head strong...hmmm wonder where she gets that?! Johnny is very thankful that he is at work when we are having words in the morning!! It may go a little like this:

Mommy> Allie it is too hot to wear long sleeves
Allie> I don't care, it looks SOOOOO cute
Mommy> I care, and yes it is cute but it will be even cuter when it is worn in the right season!!!
Allie> When do I get to pick out my clothes by.myself.without.your.help??
Mommy> (under my breath) When you get a fashion degree, or in about 5 years when your fashion sense kicks in!! (out loud) OH honey maybe next year!

OH did I argue with my Mom like this? And this is really a mild disagreement!! Some days....OH MY WORD!!!!

So once we are past the getting ready part! She seems to really enjoy her day!! She did want to know who the genius was that took out the playground (for construction) and is having the kids play in the parking lot!? HA HA!! And all the hype about the teacher she was not looking forward to having...she is over it! She seems to like her!!! OH THANK YOU JESUS!!!

I have told you that AJ is playing fall baseball this year instead of football!! He is loving it! And doing really well! Saturday the other team had a 14 year old pitcher, that could throw 80 MPH....OH MY GOODNESS!! Austin said he was really nervous...and he did strike out. But he probably has the best on base average on his team! It is hard to pitch to a kid that is not very big, so a walk it is!!!! Now he has hit several times, and actually gotten on base too! They are 90 ft bases so this is a change too!

It was very un-August like here this weekend. Saturday night at his game I was in jeans, and a sweatshirt and wishing that I had a blanket!! I did not so I just pulled the truck up so I could see and sat in there...with the heat on!!!

So that is that!! Week #1 at school done!! We will get this week over and then they have a 9 days off!! And then back at it again!!!!

We had a WoNdErFuL time!!!!

We go to the hotel up 1 exit from us a lot, to let the kids play and swim!! It is always a good time.....but this place (fort rapids) is like splash harbor on crack!!! Holy Moly!!!

We sure have been busy!

I guess maybe next summer I need to stick to it when I say lets not wait until the last 2 weeks before school starts to get everything done that we want to get done!

Last night Austin had a scrimmage. His first "Babe Ruth" scrimmage! He did really well! Remember he is playing on 90 ft bases, and hitting off of kids 3 to 4 years older than him! And when I say hitting I mean he hit the ball!!! Did not make it on base, however had 2 RBI's and that is AwEsOmE!!!!!! Before his scrimmage Johnny, Allie, Cash and I ran over to visit with Johnny's Grandma. It was a short visit but a nice one! We are excited to have her come to see Austin play ball this fall! And yes we are busted....we went over to see that beautiful little Emma, after the scrimmage! Yes, she is still sooooo darn cute!!!

This morning it was rush around to get out the door and head in to see GG!!

We had a nice visit with her as well!

He sure is a cutie!! This picture was a quick one...you see Prince Charming has a very weak tummy and he does not like certain smells, apparently baby spit up is one of them. So we started off with Cash holding Hank...and very quickly moved little Henry away as Cash was gagging, and telling Leslie "I can't like him" I felt soooo bad! But Austin and Allie were not afraid to grab Henry up and cheese for the camera!!! I love his little forehead all wrinkled up!!! Too cute!!!

Okay, I know I have been gone for a LOOOOONG time!!! But for good reason!!!

I have had a "to do" list that is never ending!!! And 2 kids that go back to school in 2 weeks!

So along with all the things I really need to be doing...umm I may have been putting some things off...and blogging has been one of them!

And if you have/had/want to have....THIS

you know where my "spare time" goes!!! HA HA HA "spare time"!!!!!

So, I have peppers hot/mild/very hot/very mild, cucumbers, melon, green beans (not ready YET) tomatoes (A LOT)

And several cookbooks to tell me what in the heck I can do with all of this....

and I have come up with a few things! I know FOR SURE we will NOT be buying ANY green peppers this winter! I have 15 bags frozen! I am waiting on the secret recipe for my Dad's mustard.....I jumped online today and found a recipe...."not good enough" and I have been thinking all day ....maybe I need to just pack myself and all my peppers up, get in the car...and go NORTH?!

Well....I would love too, but those cucumbers...or cum~peppers (Cash) are calling my name.... So I made some dill pickles!! They smell really good...and I will just say a prayer that they taste good!!! And after all this work that I have been doing......

Johnny is tired!!!

HA HA!!! Just kidding!!! Well he is tired as you see...but he has been helping too!!! Weeding that garden is a chore all by itself!!!!!

Okay, so when I am not busy in the kitchen...baaaaaaahhhhh that just sounded REALLY weird...me, Kate.....busy in the kitchen?! Okay so when I am not busy in the kitchen *snicker* I have been catching up on some deep cleaning! And after doing that this past week...The LaFever's are having a YARD SALE!!!!!!!!! Not sure when this will take place, but it WILL!!!

And then with any spare time I have.....

...I am working outside in the flowerbeds!!! I spent all afternoon last Sunday getting some starts from a "professional" not really but they should be!!! They have beautiful flowerbeds....I tried to get them to just come on over and plant everything they had given me...no such luck!!! I am not complaining, I know I brought home hundreds and hundreds worth of plants....for FREE!!! I just hope they will make it!!!!!

This is one of the starts I brought home last weekend! It is called a Magic Lilly! I was so excited about this one and then......POOF it was GONE!!!! and NOT because it "magically" disappeared! But because some cute, little, dirty faced, boy in his Diego underwear hacked it off!!!

So see not a lot has changed around here....prince charming is still......prince charming!!!

Austin has decided not to play football, but to play fall baseball! We are very excited about this! He is playing in ages 12-15. Last night at his practice he had an 18 year old pitching to him! He hit off of the kid too! Johnny and I both think this will be good for him.

Allie is still 9 going on 19! God help us!!!! She has talked her Daddy into getting her a cell phone! So if she calls you in the middle of the night or for no reason at all...just answer and you will make her day!!!

Like I said they only have 2 more weeks until they go back to school. So we will be busy this week and next spending some good times together!!!!

I will try really hard not to be such a slacker....but like my Ma always says

Baseball season that is!

Friday night Austin played and won! He had a great game. Playing left field and second base. So back to the ball field Saturday morning we went! They played very well, and gave Marengo a good battle. Unfortunately they did not pull it off!

Congrats to the Highland Blue team and coaches for a GrEaT season. They placed #1 in the season games!

And after a tough fight.... 3rd in the tournament!

Not really what the boys were after but we are all very proud of them!!!

Saturday night Johnny and I went over to a class of 1995 cookout! It was fun! Nice to see friends we had not seen in awhile and nice to see some we see often!!! I took my camera with the best intentions, guess I was too busy chatting?! Oh well hopefully we will have another one next year for our 15 year!!! Wow!!! 15 years!!!

So far this week the kids and I have been into nothing! I was looking at the calender and they only have less than 4 weeks until they go back to school. We ran into the store on Monday (with Auntie, who we miss dearly since she is a workin' girl again) and picked up some school supplies.

I had better enjoy these next few weeks, soon they will be hittin' the books!!!

12 years!!! Saturday, while Allie and I were waiting to play our last tournament game....I had a visitor to come out and watch!!! Surprise!!!!!

I think I jumped from the highest bleacher and ran through a crowd of people to jump into his arms!!!!

The kids were pretty happy too!!!

We love to have Dad/Papaw there to watch us play/coach ball!!!!

Highland Pink ended the season on Saturday!!

We made it down to 6 teams!!! Pretty good, if I do say so myself!!

Austin's team is now in tournaments. Saturday they won and Sunday they lost, so now he is in the losers bracket but hopeful to get to the Championship game this Sunday! He plays tomorrow night! I will try and keep posting on their progress!!!

Today the kids and I sat around to relax! Did a little housework and enjoyed a beautiful day!!!

While celebrating the 4th of July on the 3rd for red, white & BOOM I did not let my daughter play a video game instead of physical activity, because I did not want to argue with her.

While weeding my front flower beds I did Not stop to find a snake slithering across my bare foot, and the dance around in a very childish way screaming like a girl to then yell for the neighbor kids to come out and find the slithering creature. And then once they found it....you know if this all really happened...ask G to hold that snake so I could take a picture. NOPE Not me!!! While sitting with our fam of 5 on Saturday I did not say to Johnny that I would love to have another baby! To which his reply was "Thank God we had the surgery last winter" Oh that's right.....well, I did not say~well maybe we can adopt one....hmmmm And then Austin and Allie at the same time "let's adopt Miss Emma" "she is sooooo cute" Gosh darn it....she is!!!!!!!!

What a fun afternoon/evening!! Where Johnny is working we were able to go downtown and sit with NO worries! Having kids at this event is just a NO NO in my book. Unless you can get where we were! Police station right beside us, cops guarding the entrance! It was safe!

The kids had tons of fun! We played corn hole, tossed the football, made bracelets, lit sparklers, and watched an amazing firework show!!

Okay so it was not "the beach" BUT it was "a" beach...with water and sun and gravel-y sand!!

And it was nice and refreshing on this HOT day!!!

Saturday Johnny had a golf outing and Allie had a swim party to go to. So the boys and I took off with Tim and Brandy and their kids to have some fun! Johnny met us there later!

The kids really had a ton of fun!

And so did we!!

Cash was "surfin the waves"

He was not too sure about the water at first! So he did a lot out of the water! It did not take too long and he was in with the rest of the kids!

It was a fun day! I am sure we will do it again soon!!!

This week is the last week of baseball/softball. Before tournaments! The Farson kids will be coming over to hang out with us a couple days. Our Martha Moms group is going to the pool!

And, I am hoping to get back over to see Miss Emma~can't get enough!!!

Unfortunately we had to leave her with her Mommy and Daddy!!

BUT we will be looking forward to ANY and ALL babysitting calls we may get?!

In other news it is HOT here!! No we are not complaining~

Ball is still going strong! Both Austin and Allie won their games Tuesday night: )

I did not get to see AJ play, but Johnny says he did very well! And so did Al!

Our little catcher, was getting very hot behind the plate so I moved Allie there for the last inning....and people she caught a foul ball!!!!!!!!!!! I was SoOoO proud of her!!!!!!!

Tonight Austin plays the #2 team in the league....Should be a good game...we are #1!!!! Yup after a 3 year losing streak these boys are #1!!!!!! Allie plays tomorrow night and then only 2 more games and it will be time for tournaments! This season is just flyin' by!!!!

Cash is still going to the potty: ) He is doing really well!! I am so Proud of him!!!

Tomorrow will wrap up VBS for the week! Allie is really loving it this year: ) This is really huge for her! She has not found the love for Church or VBS until now!! Thank You Pastor Larry!!!

Yes folks it is Not Me Monday, again!

Last week was VeRy busy with ball games and birthdays. Sleepovers and visitors. Pulling weeds and potty training. Baby shower and waiting for Miss Emma...who by the way will be making her appearance tomorrow :)

So here it goes....

Potty training is something that went VERY smoothly with Austin and Allie! Austin more so than Allie, but she is in fact the Princess and, will do what she wants, when she wants, how she wants...and I am not seeing that change! Okay so our dear Prince Charming has NO interest in going to the potty...NONE! I have done all the tricks...believe me. Diapers are not cheap! He just does not want to try.

Until...all the sudden...BaM! He wants to wear his underwear...and be a BIG boy! Well that is IF he can pee off the deck....

I being the Mommy I am...AHEM...would Not let my little guy pee off the deck...Nope not me! Nor would I EvEr let him carry our grill lighter around with his naked self to pretend it was a gun so he could shoot "hogs" like his Daddy....Nope not me!!! But IF I did let him do this would that not make the cutest little picture....Yes I thought so too!!! We spend hours upon hours at the ball field with A and A. So much time in fact that sometimes I kinda feel at home when we are there. So while having a Saturday afternoon OFF...no games, no practice...NO BALL, actually at our home I would not put a helmet on our toddler, set up a tee, give him a bat and ball and have him practice his swing...No not me!! But if I did....I bet he could hit that ball!!!!!! And Sunday was Father's Day and because my Dad lives 2 hours away and has a schedule that allows NO time to get away...I did NOT see him.... BUT....

if I did I may SMILE this BIG...because it was Father's Day and I wanted to spend it with him!!!

...So when my Ma took this picture ON Father's Day (yesterday) I was not at all sad that I did not even bother to take a shower and fix my hair or put on some make up....because I did not see him.....NOPE NOT ME : )))))

OH but if I did I would be sure to Thank him for taking the day to spend with our family....

Thanks to a certain wonderful Daddy...we have some pictures of our lil softball *star*

Last Friday night Allie went 4 for 4!!!! And was the only girl on our team who scored every time she got on base!!! Not to say the other girls are not doing well, because they all are!!!

We have moved her from short stop to second base. She has been there the past 2 games. And in those 2 games she has thrown 3 girls out at first! This week we have 2 games for Allie and 2 games for AJ! This is also Austin's last week for basketball camp. He has enjoyed himself and been able to learn a lot from the varsity coach. And our little Princess will turn 9 on Wednesday! In our spare time...hahahaha!!! We are waiting on the call from Brooke and Damien to announce their new arrival!!! We can not wait to meet Miss Emma!!! Allie is hoping she will make her grand entrance on Wednesday...we will see?! We also will be going to shower Leslie with all her baby needs, on Saturday, as she awaits her new little bundle!!! Babies Babies~love em!!!

There are NO nights at home this week OR next week! 2 kids playing ball = a busy summer...hmmm I wonder what I will call it when 3 kids are playing ball?! Well, lucky for us we have a year or two...

So I feel really bad. I have LOTS of pictures of Austin's games and None, Zero, Zilch of Allie. Guess that happens when you are the coach. Maybe I will have Johnny takes some at her game tomorrow?!

Anyways...

Austin down, to get away from a wild pitch... And back up! I totally missed the action shot...he had a SWEET hit, right down first base line, past the first baseman, hard. They lost the game...but no need to worry, they play again tonight and fingers crossed they will bring home a win!!! What did Cash bring home last night? OH so glad you asked......

So today was Austin's first day of summer break!

Allie had to go one extra day due to the snow we had back in the winter...

Not me Monday is here...and although I do not link into mckmamma's site I love to join her!!!

Last week I did not finally finish planting our garden...because I started it 3 weeks ago and I SURELY would not wait 3 weeks before finishing it....Not me!

While packing Allie's lunch last week I DID NOT tell her just to take cold pizza because I had not been to the grocery store in 2 weeks...Not me! I always pack very healthy lunches for our children!!!

And speaking of lunches I worked super games at Allie's school last Friday and I packed my lunch instead of buying a school lunch and I did not eat it at lunch time after it had sat in my very warm van all morning, I would not do that because it was EGG SALAD, and that would be very nasty!!! Only it really was pretty good~I mean if I HAD eaten it :o

On Saturday when I got home from running around doing only things for my wonderful family....okay getting my hair cut I did not see this in my front yard....

Because we dress our children in matching clothes and wash their breakfast off their face everyday!!! And would NEVER allow our adorable little toddler to run around in shorts and cowboy boots!!! I mean really we do live in the country and have A LOT of Amish go up and down our road but we also have cars with people who are nosey and like to stare and we would just not give them reason to talk about us....

life with lafevers has been...busy!! Austin had tournaments this past weekend. They won 3 lost 3 so unfortunately they did not make it to the Sunday tournament. Or maybe that should say fortunately?! No really they did a good job. Austin has really started to come around this year. He is showing us that he really likes the sport and is not just there to hang out with his buddies. Puts a smile on my baseball/softball loving face : ) His regular season games start next week. I am looking forward to that! Thanks to all of you for my Birthday wishes on Sunday! Allie told Johnny that she wanted to make me breakfast! My lil chef!!! She got out her cookbook and made me Fifi's French Toast! It was very good! And Johnny made me a Cheese omelet, also very good! This is the letter Austin gave me: MY MOM~ I can count by twos and tie my shoes I can snap and clap plus take a nap I can stomp my feet and spin around and when I fall to the ground, your always there by my side holding my hand and saying your alright always there taking care of me, whenever it may be! So this card is coming to you BUT before I stop I must say, THANK YOU MOM FOR EVERYDAY!! I LOVE YOU FOREVER!!! Love, Austin (has the BEST MOM) ....hmmm sweet or what!!!! I was also able to take a nap! And the kids and Johnny took me out for dinner! It was a great day! The kids had pictures and while I was there, one of the Mom's got all the people around the park to sing me Happy Birthday! WOW!! I am a lucky girl!!! Monday Allie had practice and Johnny had a meeting after work!! Did I ever tell you how hard it is to coach a team of 10 girls, and watch my OOOOHHH so cute toddler?! Well Thank goodness for the sweet parents that help me out...even when that OOOOHHH so cute toddler SHOVES too much pizza in his cute little mouth and then gags and throws it back up :o !! Tuesday night was Allies first regular season game! GREAT game!!! Our little 3rd baseman, made 4 amazing stops one of which she had to dive for and THEN made the throw to our little 1st baseman and got the girl out!! HOLY COW! People that just does not happen in coach pitch!!! Or so we thought! Allie had 4 great hits and did very well in the field! I worried a little about playing her at shortstop, however she stopped everything that came to her and knew just what to do when she got the ball! OOOOHHHH I am so proud of her and our little team!!! Tonight AJ has practice and tomorrow Allie has a game! Also tomorrow is our Mom's prayer group, and I always look forward to that!!! Johnny is working 4 10's this week so he can have Friday off! He is planning on getting the yard work done so that we can make the much needed trip up north to see.............MY DADDY!!!!! We are all soooooo excited!!!! There you have it!!! I told you.... life with lafevers=BUSY ;))

Well with the busy week we were having we certainly did not think we would be hanging out in the BEAUTIFUL weather tonight!!! However we are ever so thankful for it!

There was a schedule mix up so Austin did not have to play tonight! And with zip zero zilch ball going on we had dinner early and were able to CHILL!!! AHHH!!!!

And blow "puffy heads" And plant a garden.... And.... ....laugh and swing!!!

and enjoy the time we have with each other!!! oh and if I was the one upside down I would not be blowing "puffy heads" but rather my dinner!!

I guess you can do these things when your a kid!!

The weather is going to be great here again tomorrow!!! YIPPEE!!!

Actually I think this weekend is going to be sunny and 70's!! I know that THE GOOD LORD heard me say I NEED some nice weather, and that is all I want for my Birthday weekend...oh and to see my Pops...and I AM going to see him...so I wonder does that make my Birthday weekend this weekend AND next? Oh that's right it is MAY...my MAY!!!

Well I told you we had a busy week ahead of us...and boy was I right!

As most of you already know I am in the running for Mother of the Year and so it is really no big deal that my toddler does not sleep in a bed at night! He chooses to sleep on the couch instead. And since a 2 year old calls the shots around here...we let him!!!

However last night he wakes up at 4:30am to tell me he wants to go to my bed. Sure it is 4:30am I don't care if you go to the stairs...just go back to sleep! As I am walking him back to our room he says..."git daddy out of here Mommy" I say "Cash this is Daddy's bed too" " NO Mommy it's yur bed...git him out!" And when I brought him back Johnny was saying " get him out of here Kate, he is crowding me" HMMM.....let's see who won that battle.......

....like I said our 2 year old is calling the shots around here!

So it is now Wednesday and so far this week we have had a middle school break up, that just about hit the news stands! And just for your information, Austin is doing fine! I am sure this will be the first of many heartaches he will have! DARN IT!! They are in the 6th grade it was bound to happen! Austin had a scrimmage Monday night, they won! WOO HOO! Allie had practice, and her coach could hardly move...being as she thought she was still young and in shape to go play in an ALL day tournament Saturday WHICH she and her team took FIRST place, Thankyouverymuch!!!!

Tuesday Austin started his tournament, they lost! BOO HOO!

And now Austin will play again tonight and Allie has practice! We thought tonight would be an off night...WRONG! So who knows what is in store for the rest of the week?! I am sure that Austin is hoping this.....

What has been going on around here? What is about to be going on around here? Glad you asked! This week has been full as most of our weeks are! Especially now with baseball/softball in full swing...pun intended! Allie is Monday and Wednesday and Austin is Tuesday and Thursday. So with out games or tournaments that leaves us Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Not too bad! YET!! The weather has been ok...this rain...ugh! The sun has been out but it still has been kinda chilly. Gotta be honest and tell you I am ready for SUMMER!!! Bring on the heat! Well hmmm yea bring on the heat! The kids are very ready for school to be out! And really so am I! The teachers I am sure have noticed that I am ready! I think 2 days out of the 4 that the kids have had school this week I did not sign Allie's assignment book...oops! And let me tell you she was not happy! She got in the van yesterday and said "well this is the 3rd day this week that I have not had recess!" Umm why? "Well YOU forgot to sign my assignment book 2 days and then my teacher did not think I was studying when she told me to!" Yeah I am sure that the teacher is just as ready for school to be out as we are! Today I had my mom's prayer group. I love that group! I love hearing from all the mom's about their children and knowing that mine are normal! Or maybe it is that all of them are just crazy?! Plus I love that group because we always have GREAT food! I know that every other Thursday I will not be eating dinner because I will shove my face full of all the wonderful food I have at mom's prayer group! Well and I love that group because we have some pretty awesome moms and knowing that these moms are shooting up prayer requests for me and my family...WOW!!! GREAT feeling! Tomorrow I am going to take all of our cans to the recycle place! And Saturday I am going to play in a tournament! I am looking forward to playing! Should be fun! Oh and Sunday is my day...actually May is MY month! You know mothers day and then my birthday, I have just claimed May as mine! That is okay right?! Good I thought so : ) Anyways my Mom will be in Madison so I went to see her last night! I am sure we will go to see Johnny's Mom! But then the day is mine! Not sure what I will do? Hmm?! Then the week will start over....and next week is really FULL! Lots of ball going on! I will try and get some pictures to post and apologize for the no picture post tonight! I assure you we are all doing well and have not changed since the last pics I posted! Well it is getting late and I am just plain tired. So goodnight to all!!!

So after my last post I want to thank those of you who commented or sent an email telling me I am NOT CrAzY!! Actually, when I got up the next morning...I knew I was doing just what I need to do to raise my children the best way we can! And this morning Austin went to watch a friend play ball and a mom actually sent me a text message to tell me that I had the most wonderful, polite son she had ever met...could she have him? I replied with a HUGE NO YOU MAY NOT...and of course a HUGE THANK YOU!!! I am sure that I will have many days where I feel like I may not be doing what I need to do to raise our children, however I have made a promise to myself that I will take a minute to really pay close attention to them and see that Johnny and I are just what they need!!!

It has been raining here for what seems like days...ugh!!! I had a list of things that needed done as soon as the rain stopped and Thank You, Jesus!!!! Today the sun has been out all day! A little chilly...but no rain!!! I am so proud of my little lilac bush I planted last year...Yeah for me it is doing so well and it smells wonderful and looks so pretty! I must admit that I am NOT a fan of purple flowers, funny because purple is my favorite color...just not on a flower! But I love this lilac bush....

Anyways, first order of business...get the flower bed out back ready!!! I planted a few bulbs and some climbing clematis! I can't wait to see how it turns out!! Next, weed the front flower bed....

Then, till up the garden...mow...weedeater...

check, check, check....

Finally, stain the french doors in the back...

All 5 of them!!!

DONE!!!!

So, you see we are busy people today! Now time to crash!

We have a full day tomorrow too!!!

...I am having a funky week!

Lately I have put a lot of thought in how I am doing as a Mom!?

And to be brutally honest with myself along with anyone who may read this blog I am starting to worry! Don't get me wrong I think, I try to be the best Mom I can be....but at times the outcome is hmm...

I have never thought that being a Mom would be an easy job! But I also never thought that it would be so dang hard either! And every day it seems to get harder! Shouldn't it be getting easier...I have 3 children this should be a cake walk right? WRONG!

Okay let's face it every...EVERY Mom wants what is best for their children or should want what is best for their children, but how do you know what is best?!

I mean I look at them....

OMGosh I do not want them to grow up and say... ...I get one chance to make the right choice for them and that is IT! One chance! And I can't help but question myself "Am I doing the right thing?" They depend on me, or us for everything...so I better get it right! That is a lot of pressure! I mean I am raising 3 (beautiful) kids, and sometimes I can't help but wonder how can I do that when the laundry that I gathered, sorted, washed, dried, and folded is still sitting in the basket not put away?! Or when my oldest kid (not going to mention any names) brings home a not so great grade that reflects on me...or when my daughter (again no names) says something not so nice about another kid...reflects again on me...or lets say my youngest (you are getting it...NO NAMES) throws a fit unlike any other, yup all together now..." who is to blame" "ME" I do have great kids all in all...and yes that is a reflection of Johnny and I as parents. I only Pray that those reflections stand out more than the not so great ones! And I am sure that I am not the only parent who questions themselves at one time or another! Just wonder how my parents did it... You know with me being so perfect and all, never causing any trouble, always getting good grades, and never throwing fits!! HA! Maybe the old saying is true... "you will have one just like you" Hmmm.... So see I am having a funky week...I am sure that you have had those kinds of weeks too! And if so....please share! You know so I can have some proof that I am not the only CrAzY Mom out there!!!

It is hard to believe that today you turn 12. It really seems like just yesterday that you were asking for "chip and diiiip" and making us all laugh with your "pooney and pocknapock" and now you are in middle school and growing into such a handsome, polite, young man!

With all the baseball and the flowers that are coming to life around our house I would say that spring has SpRuNg!!!

Here is a not so great picture of the tulips I planted last fall....I am so impressed with myself! Honestly I never thought they would grow!

...but they did and the picture really does them NO justice!

I forgot to mention to you that our last day in Florida Cash had a fever. He continued to have this fever for a few days, so I thought we had better get into the pediatrician. Thank goodness we did, turns out kids under 3 CAN get strep throat. Poor little guy! He has been a trooper though! And if having strep was not bad enough I had to take him back on Friday for his yearly check up...(please do not take note that he is 6months over due) Because you know I am still working on that "Mother of the Year" award...and that would surely take me out of the running!

At this visit they

checked his iron=Perfect!

weight 34lbs=90th percentile (he has always been on the high side of the chart)

height 35inches=50th percentile

head ? honestly I can not remember...I do know that he is finally growing into his head : )

BMI=high Crazy that they check your BMI at age 2...so we are to cut back on the milk, 2%, maybe even 1%...that will be hard for us! I have always since I had Austin had Vit D in our fridge! So we will be making a change and it will probably be to 2%!!!

She was very happy with all the words he knew, he knew all of the body parts she asked him, told her about his friend (Awwie)=Allie! Looks like he is where he should be maybe even a little ahead...he does have 2 older siblings so that helps!

They gave him his last shot until he has to go to Kindergarten....I do not even like to think about that!!! But when she gave him the shot he said...

"OW ew hort my butt!!!" Too funny!

As for my Princess...hmmm we are still finishing up homework from when we were on vacation! People just in math the teacher gave her 29 front AND back workbook pages! CRAZY if you ask me...I am all for homework...but NO WAY did those kids do that much math in 5 days....NO WAY!!! So we are hoping to get it all finished this week....*fingers crossed*

I do believe that tonight we will FINALLY get a practice in...it has been 2 1/2 weeks since we have been able to practice! Due to all the rain! And I booked a scrimmage for this Thursday! Should be interesting!

Lovie is still working hard and I think he may be getting tired of this job he is on! Not a lot for him to do, so it is boring! But he is willing to stay on it so that we can avoid him having to go to WV. for as long a possible!

That is about it...we are glad to be settling back into our routines, and enjoying this BEAUTIFUL weather!!!

For now I need to wrap a few birthday gifts for a handsome guy who is turning 12 tomorrow!!!

Oh I am blogging that's right not supposed to be singing! Ha!

So this weekend we spent at the ball field! Austin had a tournament (pre-season) So Saturday morning we were off...If you don't remember anything about last year and Austin's team...UMMMmm that is ok...as we try to block it out as well! So this year we have almost all of the same kids, lost a couple, gained a couple...and seriously they look like a whole new team! They played their first game Saturday at 10am and WON 21-3....I know holy crow! We were all soooo very proud of them! Between games we had a FEAST...I really do mean a FEAST! I love having weekend tourneys or games! It really reminds me of when I played ball and my Mom would pack this wonderful cooler full of sandwiches and chips and fruit and citrus Gatorade...do you remember citrus Gatorade? My fav my Dad's fav too! Darn Gatorade for not making it anymore! Oh again off the subject...oops! So here is Austin playing second base...

or maybe he is talking to the coach?! Not sure but anyways...We played our second game at 2pm and won that game too....21-4...OH YEAH BABY!!!!! They looked GREAT!!

...is he cute or what.... oh, off the subject again.... Okay, so here is Austin in Center...he played both center and second this weekend!

...people really they all played so well! In these two games they scored more than they did all season last year...oh and in case you did not catch the scores...that is 42 points in 2 games...and because of those 42 points...by Saturday night they were ranked #1...did you hear me #1!!!! So we got the bye and did not have to play until today at noon! That is AWESOME!!!! Okay so now for the really sad part...but not before you check out this picture of #21 on the field #1 in your heart....drum roll please

So I know this is just a warm up picture but....Oh and I almost forgot...in this tourney the boys were aloud to lead off (in our league they have to wait one more year) THEY DID WONDERFUL!!! They were stealin' fools!!! And I watched Austin dive back into first base....dirt on his belly...OOOHHHH I LOVED IT!!!

Oh I know I still have to tell you the kinda bad news....

Well we lost Sunday at noon! BUT we lost to a travel ball team...ummm this was to be a rec ball tourney but...some how there were 2 travel ball teams entered! So on paper we got 3rd....But if they played by the rules and it was only rec ball....

As promised...more from our vacation!

I really can not even imagine the work that goes into the landscaping just in Disney! In fact I was telling Johnny that ALL of Florida is beautifully landscaped! Now they have the weather to do this, and we don't here in the buckeye state! Sometimes I would just stare at the flowers in complete amazement! They have this pond that has floating flowers with all of these beautiful flowers around it...AAHHH gorgeous!!!!!

So, on this particular day I let Austin takes some pics with my camera...he is the king of snapping pictures really fast and look what he got....

*WARNING* Not for the weak stomach.....

...I told you!!!! Now that is an action shot....HA! It was so nice to go out with just the girls, the night of the Cinderella Dinner! As we were walking in to Magic Kingdom there was a shuttle going by and the lady said over the speaker "if you look to your right you will see the Beautiful Princess in lavender...Wave to the Beautiful Princess" And as we looked over they were all waving at Allie! She thought this was pretty cool, however she said she does not like being the center of attention...hmmmm...maybe someday she will! The Bippidy Boppidy Boutique was really cool! Thanks to Uncle Ron and Aunt Kim for that special treat and the Beautiful dress! And dinner in the castle was really awesome! This guy even proposed while we were in there! How sweet is that! Truly a Magical evening!!!

While we were in line to get on the Dumbo ride...Ian found this lizard! In Florida these things are everywhere! One night while I was outside one actually ran over my toes...eeewww!

The kids were really happy to see mater and mcqueen!

That is such a great movie!!! So going to the beach was WONDERFUL!!! The kids had such a great time! But who doesn't have a great time at the beach! And don't worry I had plenty of sunscreen on!

The kids thought it was really cool that they got to ride in the jeep with Uncle Chris! Down Beach Blvd.!!! Wonder if Allie liked being the center of attention then...HA!!! We followed behind them in our "hott van" ha! And she kept turning around to wave at us!!!

When we got to Tampa we met Chris at his Deli! Thanks Uncle Chris for the GREAT lunch, spending all day with us at the beach, and all the memories we will forever cherish! Even if one of them does include our littlest booger throwing big handfuls of sand at you...HA!

Cash was loving the hot tub! Well who I am kidding...I loved it too!! With 6 kids in a pool there is a lot of splashing going on you can't even open your eyes to see what or who is in front of you...so the hot tub was working for the adults!!!

On our last night we went back to Epcot! We had not seen all the countries and the light show so we spent our last night there! Ron and Kim took the kids -Cash and did the "KIM POSSIBLE RON STOPPABLE" game!! They had a great time and were even so kind to stop in the middle of their mission to pose for a quick picture!!!

So, I think this will wrap up our trip...

We are now back home, back to real life and will forever remember our trip to Disney World!!!

There is so much to tell you...

On Wednesday we had our lunch with Pooh and friends! It was a GREAT lunch! The kids really enjoyed meeting Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet! I would highly recommend doing this if you ever go! All the characters took their time at each table and the food was worth it!

On Thursday we were off to Tampa...

the sunset was Amazing! The beach was fantastic!

This was in our garage...right as we were getting ready to leave...I will tell you that the rest of the trip went really well! Just thought it was funny that this is how it all started! Oh and Allie was crying too...because Cash hit her! Thank God the rest of the trip went smooth!!

Today we were in Animal Kingdom! Fun place! Cash was napping...but thought this picture was good!

Austin and Allie went to ride with Kim and Ron. So Cash, Johnny and I took a walk and look who we ran into...Cash was really not too sure about this...but before we left he gave both of them a kiss on the cheek!

Last night we went to the Hoop d do! It was really fun and the food was great!! Allie looked so pretty!!

We made it! We left yesterday around 5! Our trip went okay! We hit some really bad weather in WV. The rain was so bad and the trucks were just flying by! At one point Johnny said he thought an Amish buggy passed me! How rude! I was driving very slow in the mountians with all the rain and such...Hey people I had precious cargo with me...A A and C...okay J too!!! However even after all the rain and me driving S.L.O.W. We still made it here in 16 hrs...not bad! And because we were here earlier than we thought we decided to head on over to Epcot! I am sooo tired right now and am not posting any pics tonight...sorry! But I will tell you that I am "in love" with the weather...85* today BEAUTIFUL!!! And these palm trees...OH I swear I was ment to live where the weather is warm....always and the beach is near?! Tomorrow we will be spending the day at Animal Kingdom. From what I have read I think Cash will love this park?! We will see! For now I am off to sleep! Pictures tomorrow!!! I have a really good one too...hint...red boots :))

We are down to 19 hours!! Oh and we are so ready!!! Well not so...couple things still need packed and then to load everything in the van! Oh and clean up the house and finish off the laundry and and and...But we are so ready! Tonight is the first night this week that lovie and I have not had to work on the septic...eeww...I think, I pray it is fixed! Still not positive what the problem really was?! And still have a sneaky suspicion it had something to do with Cash Wilson?! Note to all...Please say a prayer that while we are off enjoying ourselves and our family we do not get a call about the septic and an over~flo of nasty!!! Next time I post I will be in Florida!! I will try not to overload you with pictures BUT...no promises!!! Florida, Mickey Mouse, Uncle Chris, Sun, Beach.....HERE WE COME!!!!!

It is getting crazy around here! Snow is falling, suitcases AND septics are overflowing, moods are going from one extreme to another! Wow! Friday needs to hurry and get here! Due to the lovely weather we are having here this week, both of the practices that we were to have last night and tonight have been cancelled! Good thing for us! We still have tons to do! Coloring Easter eggs was one of the things...

Now I can check that off the "to do" list! On to the hundred other things! And the one thing that is seeming to be a big problem right now...packing! I started this Saturday! I finished (the first time) yesterday! For the first time you ask? UMMM yes it seems if I take all the bags I have packed...there will be no room for...US! Okay so now back to the drawing board!!

AND, yes you did read that right...I said snow is falling...and right now I want to know WHO ORDERED it?! I am SOOO tired of this weather and not even so much the snow but the rainy, cold, dreary weather! So I am ordering it to LEAVE!!! NOW!!! Or I am outta here, Friday!! HA HA!

Oh and I am sure you want to know about the septic issues we are having?! You don't?! Well let's just say that I used to laugh at those people that had to put locks on their toilets...you know for cute little blondes with too short pants...well today this Mama is going to buy 3 of those locks! One for each toilet!!! And because I don't want to leave you on that stinky, poo story
